It is among the most popular in Budapest especially among foreigners. It is also the most expensive.

The Százéves Étterem is another one of these high end restaurants in Budapest. It has been around for 100 years. Aside from it being among the oldest restaurant in the city it is also the oldest inn. You will enjoy your Hungarian delicacies in a candlelight dinner and will be serenaded with gypsy music.

There are also some Hungarian restaurants that are more affordable than the first two mentioned though. You can try the home cooked style meals in Bagolyvár or visit the family-operated restaurant of Náncsi Néni Vendégloje. It also serves delectable dishes from the Hungarian cuisine but will not be as heavy on the budget.
